Anne Caroline Valtin

Social Impact Strategist and Philanthropic Advisor

With a background in business and a Master's degree in International Law, being based in Palm Beach wasn't what she had originally envisioned. While the equestrian industry originally pulled her to come to this area, an event in Wellington (FL) called the Great Charity Challenge presented by Fidelity Investments® (GCC) is definitely what kept her here!

Serving as its Executive Director for the last 9 years, she has been actively involved in addressing local/community needs while supporting the work of hundreds of local non-profit organizations. With an impact of $14.8 million distributed locally, the GCC was founded by father/daughter Mark and Paige Bellissimo, bridging the gap between individuals, equestrians, businesses and charitable/nonprofit organizations. The changes that these organizations are able to accomplish are real; moving away from "philanthropy" as we once thought of it, where people came in from the outside with solutions to "others' problems", she has witnessed firsthand the significance of empowering local actors. She thrives on bolstering meaningful relationships between stakeholders and believes in the power of united communities.

Laura Bessinger-Morse

Partner at DRMTM

Laura Bessinger-Morse’s magic is in the written brand, helping clients communicate their higher purpose to engage more support and raise more money through messaging that is human, compelling, and authentic. But what makes her craft so powerful are the years spent doing what you do: running nonprofits, cultivating donors, and managing communications. She gets it. Two decades of marketing and fundraising leadership in cultural arts, education, and community development inform the strategy behind the words she expertly curates to shape your culture, build your following, and attract a loyal donor patronage. Laura brings executive strategy to lead organizations in mission-driven messaging and design — turning up the volume on your voice and, ultimately, your fundraising potential. Laura is president of Sharp 11, Inc. and a partner in DRMTM.
